I had the pleasure of 2nd shooting with Ben and Chrys Q last month and capture the wedding of Calvin and Jennifer at Northwest Bible Church in Dallas. I had such a great time getting to work together with some of my favorite photographers in the area. Calvin and Jennifer had a beautiful wedding and a great ceremony, it was great to be able to be apart of the day. I had the privilege of traveling to Tulsa, Oklahoma and 2nd shoot a wedding with Jeremy Gilliam, who specializes in awesome. I was so glad I got to tag along on this wedding because it was the largest wedding I had ever covered, over 1,000(maybe more?) guests were in attendance! The wedding was for Paul and Ashley Daugherty, Paul is the son of Billy Joel Daugherty who is the pastor of Victory Christian Center. Because it was the pastors son getting married, the whole congregation was invited, and I sure believe they all came! Paul and Ashley had a beautiful wedding filled with love, family, amazing friends, beautiful altar, and wonderful worship. One of the most memorable moments for me during this wedding was definitely when Ashley came down the aisle, when it was time to open the doors for her to enter the place was quiet, then these drums started playing this awesome beat and the doors flew open and Ashley enters the room, everyone stands on their feet and begins cheering as she makes her way to the altar, it was the most unique entrance I had seen and fun to witness. I spent most of the wedding day hanging out with Paul and his groomsmen and then during the ceremony I had a killer spot on the stage hiding behind some props hanging with the video camera guys, best location for a ceremony I have ever had! If only I could have this location at every wedding, haha. Enjoy some of my favorite images from the wedding, I had so many that I am also building a slideshow to share soon.

I just received sad news that pastor Billy Joe Daugherty passed away on 11/22/09 after battling lymphoma. This wedding was his last public appearance before his death, prayers go out to the congregation and his family.

Here is my second installment of the Josh and Chelsea wedding. These images tell more of the story of the day instead of just portraits. There were so many great shots that it was hard to pick 20-25 so I ended up choosing 35, haha! Next up will be the slideshow. Should be ready next week. Enjoy!

Josh and Chelsea tied the knot on November 7,2009 at the Hilton Hotel in Rockwall, TX. I had so much fun at this wedding because Josh and Chelsea are such a fun couple to work with, they were there to enjoy their day and have fun with all their friends and family. Chelsea could be one of the funniest brides I have had the pleasure to shoot, she was cracking me up the whole day with her excitement and funny faces, but she also knew how to work that camera and strike those poses! I had so many images that I loved from the wedding that it is just impossible for me to just share the typical 25 I usually share, so I am going to have this post which consists of just portraits from the day, a 2nd post that will contain images from the whole day, and a 3rd post which will be the wedding slideshow. Enjoy these pictures, I think you’ll get to see a lot of their personality come out.
